MASTERCLASS / WORKSHOPS
About the meetings
Masterclasses and workshops are conceived as encounters focused on music, listening, and the creative process.
They do not follow the format of traditional lessons or technical courses.
The starting point is original music — both solo compositions and improvised forms shaped through dialogue with space, the instrument, and the moment.
Scope
Each meeting has an individual character and is shaped by the context of the place and the group involved.
Topics explored may include:
- improvisation as a process of attentive listening
- work with sound, resonance, and silence
- the relationship between structure and freedom in music
- compositional thinking in instrumental music
- the instrument as a tool rather than a goal
The scope and form of each meeting are not fixed — the process is valued more than the program.
Format
Masterclasses may take different forms, depending on the context and needs:
- open workshop sessions
- masterclasses for students and musicians
- author-led meetings with elements of improvisation
- work with ensembles, instrumental classes, or small groups
Each meeting is based on active participation and shared presence in sound.
For whom
These workshops are intended for musicians and students seeking a deeper relationship with sound and the creative process — regardless of genre or formal education.
They are not designed for those expecting ready-made formulas or step-by-step technical instruction.
Organisational information
Masterclasses are organised upon invitation by institutions, universities, festivals, and cultural centres.
