GUITARS
BARITONE ŚLIWA GUITARS
I use a one-of-a-kind guitar. It is unique and I will tell you about it in a moment.
It was created for me by a wonderful man and an excellent violin maker, Jacek Śliwa. One day Jacek thought that he would become a violin maker, that he would build acoustic guitars. He was almost 50 when he decided to do so. See – anything is possible for whoever wants to!
And so it happened that the first guitar that Jacek Śliwa built, he created for me. This is an acoustic baritone guitar!
The baritone guitar is my destiny. Exactly that baritone guitar!
Two words about the construction:
Scale is 27 ‘. 685 mm
Top: Redwood
Back and Sides: European Walnut
I have been playing this guitar for several years in a non-standard way. My tuning is called “flat nashville tunning”. To this end, my 3 and 4 strings are tuned an octave higher. These two strings are thinner. They come from a different set of strings. Nevertheless, the outfit remains somewhat standard. Is A D G C E A.
Importantly, I play in 432 hz tuning.
If you like a sound similar to mine, I think you can turn to Jack. With a bit of luck, Jacek will create an instrument very similar to mine 🙂

SEGA GUITARS
Equally important and my favorite guitars are those from the Sega Guitars workshop.
I’ve played some of them. Each of them has its own uniqueness.
It just so happens that at this point I’m playing the first acoustic guitar built by Sega Guitars! Isn’t it some magic!
I also play the unique Sega Guiatar. This instrument is made of precious wood. Brazilian rosewood. Is beautiful!!! Sounds absolutely phenomenal!

PEDALBOARD
My pedalboard is very simple.
I use two equalizers. (one for piezo and one for mic).
Tuner calibrated to 432 hz (popular tuners are not calibrated to 432, only to 435 hz).
Reverb TC Electronic.
I sometimes use a looper (it’s helpful for soundchecks).
There is also a chorus in my pedalboard (a friend gave me that and that’s the way it is).

AMPLIFIER
I really like the sound of my old Yamaha StagePass 300. It is a really old construction, but the sound is warm and soft. It has a very nice bass, correct midrange and soft treble.
Yamaha no longer produces this amplifier. But sometimes you can get it second-hand.
The second amplifier that I sometimes use in places where there is no access to electricity is the Laney Fresco. It is battery powered, which is its greatest advantage. If I don’t play too loud, it does its job well.
A FEW MORE LITTLE THINGS.
Nails. I play with natural nails. I don’t make acrylics, gels or any other hybrids. The nail technique of playing a steel string guitar requires a few things.
First of all, nail polishing. Next, the right shape of the nails. It is very important.
Very often guitarists skip the issue of nails. They concentrate on guitar, amps, effects, and forget that the sound really depends on the finger.
If the acoustic sound only from the finger is not very good, then no amplifier will change it.
Therefore, it all starts with the finger and the nail. And even more specifically, it all starts in the mind 🙂
