The long-awaited book “The Power of Creativity” will be available soon. It will cover topics related to creativity. It covers such issues as: the state of mind and its key importance in creativity, silence as a medium of presence, source of creativity – what is it and how to get to it?
I have been writing this book for many years. I have been gathering experience to write it over the years. It seems to me that I am slowly ready to share what music has taught me.
Can’t wait…
Here are some short excerpts, some thoughts taken out of context:
“Thinks…
… When you think while playing, you don’t really play, you just think you are playing. You really play when you are not thinking. You only play when you get out of your own mind. Then you will be open to music and – importantly – you will be free from assessments and analyzes. When you are free from mind terror while playing, errors do not exist. It is impossible to go wrong. The music plays itself …
… Therefore, the forces of creation cannot be provoked purely intentionally …
… It’s all about listening more than playing. Playing is listening, not playing. As you listen, you bring out the music from the depths to give it the form of sounds. You don’t force the guitar to play what you want, but you let the guitar play. It’s the guitar that guides you, not you the guitar. Perhaps it would be better to say that the music guides you, not you the music. The opposite of what you may have thought so far.”…
